This Privacy Policy describes how Paladar Queue ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our queue management service.

1. Information We Collect

From restaurant operators (subscribers):

Name and business name
Email address
Payment information (processed securely by Stripe; we do not store credit card numbers)
Account configuration data

From customers using the queue:

Name (provided voluntarily when joining the queue)
Phone number (provided voluntarily when joining the queue)
Timestamp of queue entry

2. How We Use Your Information

For restaurant operators:

To provide and maintain the Service
To process payments and manage your subscription
To send service updates and support communications

For customers joining the queue:

To enable the restaurant operator to manage queue position and contact the customer
Customer data is controlled by and visible only to the subscribing restaurant

3. Data Storage & Security

All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. Access is restricted to authenticated accounts. We use Stripe for payment processing and do not directly store or handle credit card information.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share data only with:

Service providers who assist in operating Paladar Queue (e.g., Stripe for payments)
Law enforcement, when required by law

5. Data Retention

Queue customer data (name, phone) is available to the subscribing restaurant for the duration of the session and deleted from our active systems within 30 days.
Subscriber account data is retained for as long as the account is active, plus 90 days after cancellation for recovery purposes.

6. Your Rights

You may:

Request access to the data we hold about you
Request correction or deletion of your data
Request export of your data in a machine-readable format
Withdraw consent to marketing communications at any time

7. Cookies

We use only essential session cookies required to authenticate users. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 30 days before they take effect.
